The Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest (UTCB), and ASSISi, with support from EU-Conexus, present a two-day networking event to increase awareness of seismic isolation and damping technologies in Romania. The event is being organized by Professor Andreea Dutu of UTCB (ASSISi Director) and Dragos Mocanu of EBC Consult (ASSISi Regional Coordinator for Romania) and will bring together international manufacturers, design companies, general contractors, academics, authorities and students to set the basis for building better before the next earthquake comes.
